Vighnesh Notes · Identity Governance
Azure PIM Implementation
A seven-part visual guide to implementing Microsoft Entra Privileged Identity Management with least privilege, just-in-time access, approvals, access reviews, audit visibility, and continuous governance.
I created this visual guide to organize the major Azure PIM implementation decisions into a practical sequence. The collection covers planning and licensing, privileged-access discovery, eligible and active assignments, activation controls, approvals, access reviews, alerts, audit history, and rollout governance.
These notes are a learning and planning aid. Validate production designs against current Microsoft documentation, licensing, Conditional Access requirements, emergency-access procedures, role ownership, and organizational security policies.
Seven stages from planning to continuous governance.

Why I created this guide
Privileged access governance is a foundational cloud-security capability. I created this series to connect PIM planning, assignment design, activation controls, access reviews, monitoring, and operational governance into one practical implementation view.
